apanese shipping company NYK has reached an agreement with the Kyushu Electric Power Company, cooperation in various fields including transportation, LNG.

 According to the agreement, the Kyushu Electric Power will use NYK to meet its short haul transport demand LNG. 

NYK and Kyushu Electric Power said that the two sides will also consider feasible cooperation supplementary services in LNG supply and shipping business aspects such as gas lamp, LNG business.

The agreement will allow NYK to improve profitability through the ship allocation effectively, and LNG transport flexibility and improve Kyushu Electric power. 

In addition, NYK in a separate agreement, recently the LNG ship "Grace Barleria", leased to Kyushu Electric power. The 100450 ton LNG ship will provide the company with a 11 year LNG transport service.
